About Aartis

An aarti is a devotional song sung while waving a lit lamp (diya) in a circular motion before the deity, usually at the close of worship (puja). It is one of the most loved and universal forms of bhakti — from the temple to the home, the day ends and begins with aarti.

Each aarti on this page is given in two scripts for your convenience — Hindi (Devanagari) and English (Hinglish, Roman script) — so you can sing along in whichever you are most comfortable with. Open any aarti and use the buttons to switch script, share the link, or download a PDF.
