The Rahu Stotram — a hymn to Rahu, the north lunar node (shadow planet), recited to pacify Rahu and ward off its harmful effects.
The hymn describes Rahu — the half-bodied, mighty serpent-planet born of Simhika — and bows to him, seeking that he be favourable and not afflict the devotee.
Recited (often on Saturdays) to reduce the confusion, fear, obstacles and sudden troubles caused by Rahu, and to turn its effects protective.
The Rahu Stotram above is given in both Devanagari (Sanskrit) and Roman transliteration so you can read it in whichever script you are comfortable with — switch between the two using the buttons above, share the link, or download a PDF.
