The Chandra Stotram — a hymn to Chandra Deva (the Moon), to strengthen the Moon and bring mental peace and contentment.
The hymn salutes Chandra, white as curd and conch, born of the milk-ocean, lord of the night and herbs, and prays for his cooling, nourishing grace.
Recited on Mondays to strengthen a weak Moon, calm the mind, relieve emotional distress and bring peace, harmony and well-being.
The Chandra Stotram above is given in both Devanagari (Sanskrit) and Roman transliteration so you can read it in whichever script you are comfortable with — switch between the two using the buttons above, share the link, or download a PDF.
