What is Badhaka Dosha?

Every Lagna has a Badhakasthana — an "obstruction" house. It is the 11th for movable signs, the 9th for fixed signs and the 7th for dual signs. Its lord, the Badhakesh, can create persistent hidden obstacles. The dosha is read when a malefic sits in the Badhakasthana, or the Badhakesh is in a dusthana or afflicts the Lagna lord.
