About the Family Rashi Tree
The Family Rashi Tree puts every family member's Vedic Moon sign — the Rashi — together in one simple chart. Your Rashi is the zodiac sign the Moon occupied at the moment of birth (Lahiri sidereal), and it is the sign used for daily Rashifal, Nakshatra naming and Kundli matching. Add each person with just a name and date of birth and their Rashi appears on a maroon-and-gold medallion with its sign symbol.
In quick mode the Moon sign is approximate: it is calculated for midday, because the city of birth never changes the Moon sign and only the exact birth time can move it across a sign boundary. Add the birth time (and city) for any member to upgrade them to a precise Moon sign. To find one person's Moon sign in full detail, use the Janma Rashi Finder.
Building a tree is free and needs no login — your family stays on your own device until you choose to share it or save it to an account. For a detailed reading of any chart, it is always best to consult a qualified astrologer.
