Tara Bala is the nine-fold relationship between today’s Moon nakshatra and your birth (Janma) nakshatra. Counting from your birth star, the nine taras repeat in order — Janma, Sampat, Vipat, Kshema, Pratyak, Sadhaka, Naidhana, Mitra and Ati-Mitra. Sampat, Kshema, Sadhaka, Mitra and Ati-Mitra are considered favourable; Vipat, Pratyak and Naidhana are cautioned; Janma is mixed.

Chandra Bala — Moon strength
