Shrapit Dosha (also called Shrapit Yoga) forms when Saturn (Shani) and Rahu come together — by conjunction in one sign or by mutual aspect. Saturn is the planet of karma and delay, and Rahu of unfulfilled desire; together they are said to bring forward unresolved karma from the past, felt as repeated delays, struggle and obstacles that ease with maturity and remedies.

The dosha is read from the natal positions of Saturn and Rahu. Its real strength depends on their dignity, the house involved and the running dasha.
