Preta Badha ("disturbance by departed spirits") and Abhichar Dosha ("affliction by negative intent / black magic") are traditional readings drawn from a heavily afflicted Moon (the mind) together with malefics in the 8th and 12th houses (the hidden, the unseen). They describe phases of unexplained fear, disturbed sleep, anxiety or obstruction.
