What is Kemadruma Yoga?
Kemadruma Yoga is a Moon (Chandra) dosha that forms when the Moon is "lonely" — no planet (other than the Sun and the nodes Rahu/Ketu) sits in the 2nd or 12th from the Moon, nor with the Moon. The unsupported Moon is said to bring instability of mind, money and circumstances.
It is usually cancelled
Crucially, Kemadruma is one of the most easily cancelled doshas. The classical Kemadruma Bhanga cancellations are:
- The Moon is in a Kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) from the Lagna.
- The Moon is aspected or joined by a benefic (Jupiter, Venus, Mercury).
- A planet sits in a Kendra from the Moon (4th, 7th, 10th).
- The Moon is in its own sign (Cancer) or exalted (Taurus).
When any of these apply, the dosha is largely neutralised — which is why most charts with raw Kemadruma are not actually afflicted.
What you get
This checker computes your sidereal (Lahiri) chart and tells you clearly whether Kemadruma is absent, present but cancelled, or active — with the planets beside the Moon, the exact cancellations found, the likely effects, and the Moon-strengthening remedies, plus a downloadable PDF.
