What is Neechabhanga Raja Yoga?
A planet in its debilitation sign (neecha) is normally weak — it struggles to give its natural results. But classical texts list conditions under which that weakness is cancelled. This cancellation is called Neecha Bhanga, and when it is strong and the planet is well placed, it can flip into a Raja Yoga — the famous "rise after struggle" pattern, where the person overcomes early setbacks to reach success and status.
The cancellation rules
This verifier applies the standard Neecha Bhanga conditions (Phaladeepika / BPHS) that can be read from the birth chart:
- The dispositor (lord of the debilitation sign) is in a Kendra from the Lagna or the Moon.
- The planet that is exalted in that sign is in a Kendra from the Lagna or the Moon.
- The debilitated planet is conjoined or aspected by its dispositor or by that exaltation-lord.
- There is a sign exchange (Parivartana) with the dispositor, or the dispositor is itself exalted.
What you get
For every debilitated planet, you see whether the debilitation remains, is cancelled, or forms a full Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga — with the exact conditions found, what it means for that planet's significations, and a downloadable PDF.
