What is a Bhamsha chart?
The twenty-seventh divisional chart (D27), also called Nakshatramsha or Saptavimsamsa. Each rasi is split into twenty-seven parts of 1 degree 6 minutes 40 seconds. Fire signs count from Mesha (Aries), earth from Karka (Cancer), air from Tula (Libra), water from Makara (Capricorn). The twelve houses are read from the Bhamsha of the rising sign as house 1. Classical practice uses it for strengths and weaknesses: the D27 lagna for vitality, the 6th for drain.
Does a weak D27 mean I am physically weak?
No. A planet that looks strong in the birth chart but falls to a weak Bhamsha tends to deliver less stamina than it appears to; the reverse also holds. That is a modifier, not a fitness score and not a medical diagnosis. Dasha, the natal lagna lord and ordinary care still matter. For health questions, see a doctor. Treat a difficult D27 as a reason to look more closely, not as a verdict on the body.
How is this different from Trimsamsa, Ashtakavarga or Shadbala?
Trimsamsa (D30) is misfortunes and arishta. Ashtakavarga scores bindu support of signs for transits. Shadbala is six-fold planetary strength. This page draws the D27 chart itself. None of those pages is a medical diagnosis.
How is this different from Kundli Maker, Janma Nakshatra or Vimsopaka?
Same D27 mathematics and the same D27 lagna as house 1. Kundli Maker is the full natal file - D1, every varga, dasha and strength tables. This page is only the Bhamsha. Janma Nakshatra names the Moon's birth star and its deity; D27 reuses those 27 deities as amsa lords, it is not the birth star itself. Vimsopaka Bala includes D27 as one weighted varga of 0.5 in Shodasavarga.
Is the 6th from D27 my disease?
It is the house of drain, rivals and daily friction in this strength chart, not a diagnosis and not a timing. Read it with Mars and the Sun, and with the natal lagna lord placed in D27. Why does the birth time matter so much?
Each Bhamsha is only 1 degree 6 minutes 40 seconds of the rasi chart, so a few minutes of clock time can move Lagna or a graha into the next D27 sign and redraw every house. Pick the city from the dropdown and use the recorded time. If the time is rounded, treat the chart as provisional.
