What does this helper do?
It ranks possible clock windows inside a range you already know. You enter a birth date, place, a scan window (or a recorded time), and dated life events. The page splits that window into D1 lagna and Navamsa lagna bands, then scores how well each band fits those events. It is a narrowing tool, not a new birth certificate.
Does a high score mean that is my exact birth time?
No. A high score only means that D1 + Navamsa band fits the events you typed more closely than the other bands in the same scan. Many minutes inside a band share the same lagna pair. Why D1 and D9 lagna bands?
Lagna changes sign about every two hours. Navamsa lagna changes about every 13 minutes. Grouping the clock by both signs keeps the list readable and matches how rectification is often practised: find a rising sign that works, then a Navamsa lagna that still fits. It is not a claim that the true minute sits at the mid-point of the band.
How are events scored?
Each trial lagna builds event-house lords, occupants and karakas as significators. Points are added when the event date falls in a significator Mahadasha, Antardasha or Pratyantardasha, and when Jupiter or Saturn transits or aspects those houses. The dasha itself barely moves across a few hours, so house-from-lagna and transits do most of the ranking.
How wide a window can I scan?
Up to eight hours, on the same calendar day or overnight. If you only have a recorded time and leave the window blank, the helper scans 90 minutes either side. Wider unknown ranges need more events and still will not pin a minute. Keep the city pick from the dropdown so coordinates are right.
How is this different from Kundli Maker or Hora Lagna?
Kundli Maker draws one chart at one clock. This page compares many clocks inside a window against events. If you have no clock at all, start with the Nashta Jataka estimator for a working noon or day-part chart, then come back here once a window is known. Hora and Ghati Lagna are special lagnas counted from sunrise, not a TOB search. Janma Mahadasha shows the natal dasha of a known time.
About Birth Time Rectification Helper
Birth time rectification is the craft of narrowing an uncertain clock using events that already happened. Classical Jyotish times those events from the houses, karakas and Vimshottari dasha of the natal chart. This helper does not invent a time from nothing. You give a date, a place and a window you already trust (a remembered hour, a hospital range, or 90 minutes around a recorded clock), plus dated events. It then splits that window into D1 lagna and Navamsa lagna bands and ranks the bands that fit those events more closely.
The score uses Parashara-style house activation: lords and occupants of the event houses, natural karakas, the running Mahadasha and Antardasha, and Jupiter or Saturn transits to those houses from that trial lagna. It is not Krishnamurti ruling-planet rectification, not a yearly Sudarshana chakra, and not a substitute for Kundli Maker. A high score is a working window. Hospital notes, family memory and a full reading still come first.
Health, accident and divorce events are scored the same way as marriage or a first job - as house activation, not as a diagnosis or a legal finding.
