How is my Jadi chosen?
From your Lagna, the same trine-lord method as gemstones. The 1st lord is Life Jadi, the 5th lord is Lucky Jadi, and the 9th lord is Fortune Jadi. Each planet maps to a traditional plant. An exact birth time is required because the Lagna changes roughly every two hours.
How is this different from Gemstone Suggestions?
Both start from the Lagna trines. Gemstone Suggestions names the Ratna, finger and metal. This page names the plant-root amulet for the same planets, with thread colour and weekday. A jadi is not a weaker chart; it is a cheaper form of the same planetary idea. Crystals from the Moon sign are a third, gentler list on Vedic crystal suggestions.
Does choosing a jadi mean my chart is weak?
No. Cost is not a verdict on the Kundli. Classical remedial practice treats mantra, daan and vrat as the core, and a plant amulet as one more support. People pick a jadi because a certified stone is expensive or because they prefer a plant form, not because the horoscope is lesser.
Should I wear a Jadi of a 6th, 8th or 12th lord?
Not from this page alone. Strengthening a dusthana lord can amplify friction, which is the same caution Gemstone Suggestions already gives. Confirm with a qualified astrologer first. Mantra, daan and vrat on Kundli Remedy are the usual path when a planet is not advised as a worn remedy.
Where do I wear it, and which thread?
On the planet's weekday, on a thread of that planet's colour (red for Sun and Mars, white for Moon and Venus, green for Mercury, yellow for Jupiter, black or dark blue for Saturn, blue for Rahu, ash or sky blue for Ketu).
