Such a person often rises through qualities tied to the Atmakaraka's nature, with the angular support from the Karakamsha giving lasting visibility and authority.
This is a Jaimini raja yoga, counted from the Karakamsha in the Navamsa, not from the D1 house lords. It is not the same as Kendra–Trikona Raja Yoga and not the same as AK conjunct AmK, which pairs the soul planet with the minister planet in the birth chart. The flavour follows whichever planet is the Atmakaraka. Benefics in Kendras from the Karakamsha elevate more gently; exalted malefics can still grant power with more heat.
