What is Mangala Dasha?
In Vimshottari it is the period of Mars (Mangala / Kuja). Mars rules a seven-year Mahadasha in the 120-year cycle, and a shorter Antardasha inside every other Mahadasha. This page lists those Mars windows through age 100, says whether Mars is running now, and reads a light result from where Mars sits in your Kundli. If Mars Mahadasha would begin after age 100, it is skipped.
Is this the same as Manglik Dosha?
No. Manglik Dosha is a placement test: whether Mars occupies the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from Lagna, Moon or Venus. Mangala Dasha is timing: when Mars periods run. You can be non-Manglik and still live through a Mars Mahadasha, or Manglik with Mars dormant in the dasha clock. The placement checker is Manglik Dosha.
Is this Yogini Dasha's Mangala?
No. Yogini Dasha also has a Yogini named Mangala, but that one is Moon-ruled and lasts one year in a 36-year tantric cycle. This calculator is Vimshottari Mars only. The Yogini cycle is on Yogini Dasha.
Does Mars Dasha mean accidents, fights or a hard marriage?
No. Mars names a flavour - energy, property, siblings, drive and conflict themes - not a verdict. What surfaces depends on where Mars sits, what it rules, and the rest of the chart. A well-placed Mars can be a productive, courageous stretch. Treat health, legal and marriage questions with the relevant professional, not as a dasha headline.

As exact as you can get it. The whole sequence is anchored to the Moon's nakshatra degree, so a few minutes shifts the balance of the first Mahadasha and every date after it. Mahadasha windows move a little; Pratyantar dates can jump. Read the dates as centres of gravity, not switches.
